The opportunity Port Stephens Libraries are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to drive our Mobile Library Truck and deliver quality Library Services to our community on a casual basis. This role isn’t your regular Library Services role – it will see you safely and effectively driving our Mobile Library Truck (semi-articulated vehicle) to sites across our Local Government area of Port Stephens, while also delivering our library programs, activities and events. The Mobile Library visits 12 different locations throughout the LGA from Fingal Bay through to Karuah, and right across the peninsula, providing a range of services including; Loans of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs Public use computers, including Printing, photocopying and scanning While safe operation of the truck is a must, you’ll also need strong customer experience and computer literacy skills as you will be assisting members of the community on a regular basis. This is a casual opportunity – with shifts starting between 8am and 9am, and finishing between 5pm and 7pm on weekdays, and 8.30am to 12.30pm on Saturdays Casual Hourly Rate Range: $46.44 to $51.24 / hour You will be based from PSC Library, Raymond Terrace The key responsibilities for this role are listed within the position description here – view the position description .
